I =have planted corn this year and it has been getting plenty of water but the bottom leaves are starting to turn yellow and they arent growing real fat either I planted them 6 weeks ago and they are only 8

I'm not convinced there's anything wrong with your corn, although yellowing leaves may indicate overwatering or soil that's not draining as well as it should after a rainstorm. It grows according to the weather and there's not much you can do to improve or change the weather. You didn't mention whether or not you've fertilized your corn. You should side dress with nitrogen fertilizer when the plants are 12-18 inches high. I'm sure your corn will catch up after you've fed them. Best wishes with your corn.
