I want to plant the Catherdral Wall (hiedra helix) ivy plant beside my fish pond & let the leaves hang into the pond for the fish to lay their eggs on. Will this plant poison my fish if they chew on it or eat it?

All of my resources indicate Hedera helix (English ivy) is poisonous to fish. Cthedral Wall is no exception. I'd keep the leaves and berries out of the fish pond and just allow it to grow along the edges of the pond but not hang down into the water.
