|I live in Mesa, Az and have 7 Italian Cypress trees and want to know how often to water them? Also, some of the branches are hanging down, do you trim the branches? Thank you.

|Your Italian cypresses have a moderate water need so be sure you water them deeply twice a week during the hottest summer month and taper off to once a week during the fall, winter and spring. The drooping branches can indicate a need for water. Adjust your watering schedule and I think you'll see an improvement. I'd leave the drooping branches alone for now. If they are still drooping this fall, go ahead and trim them. Enjoy your landscape!
