|The rhododendron has completed flowering. Some of the leaves are now brown and curling around the edges. Help!
Is there a deficiency?
|The brown margins and curling leaves can indicate overwatering, or might indicate a highly alkaline soil. Rhodies grow best in acidic soils. If the soil is too alkaline, nutrients will be bound up and not readily available to the roots of your plant. Try feeding with a specialized Rhododendron/Azalea fertilizer and water with care so the soil has a chance to dry out slightly between waterings. Hope you see an improvement soon!|
