Potted, or florist's azaleas can be grown indoors year around but they are not winter hardy so can't be planted outdoors. If you'd like to keep yours, prune off the spent flowers and give it bright light but no direct sunshine. Water when the top of the soil begins to dry out. With any luck at all it will bloom again for you next spring.
