the gardenias in our area are so beautiful for just a few days and then the flowers all turn dark brown. Why? The bushes are healthy looking. |
Heavy rain can shortened the life of your blooms, as can overhead watering, but typically even pest-free flowers live only two or three days. It's sad - but the good news is that gardenias usually produce lots and lots of flowers so there's almost always fresh new flowers to replace the aging ones. Enjoy your gardenia! |
