I was too liberal with the use of Round Up to kill weeds. I now have large brown spots in the lawn. How do I reseed these? Will the residual Round Up kill the seeds?

There's very little to no residual effect to Round Up. It penetrates the roots of the weeds but does not travel in the soil. Rake out the dead grass and weeds, spread a little compost over the area and dig it in slightly, then level the area(s) and broadcast your seeds. They should sprout right away. I think the Round Up label suggests 7 days as a waiting period between using the product and reseeding but you should check the label just to make sure. Best wishes with your lawn.
