Most azaleas like bright shady locations, but some will grow in morning sun and some will grow in all day sunshine - check the tag to see which exposure your azalea prefers. Azaleas like moist, acidic soils. You can mix some peat moss into your soil to help it drain well and to make it acidic. Plant the azalea so it will be growing at the same soil level as it is growing in the nursery pot. Water it in well after planting and water it deeply once or twice a week. Hope your azalea thrives!
