|Is it too late to thin out spring blooming shrubs like Ninebark, Forsythia and Spirea?

|You can thin your shrubs now. Since your forsythia has already bloomed, you won't miss the flower display; your spirea will bloom later than usual if you prune now, but it should still bloom for you this summer. Your ninebark should come through the thinning process without skipping a beat in performance. Best wishes with your pruning projects!
