|It's important that containers have drainage holes in the bottoms. The excess water needs to escape or it will kill the roots of your plants. If you have a decorative pot with no drainage holes, you can set the nursery pot into the decorative pot and simply remove the plant when it's time to water. Allow the excess water to drain, then reset the nursery pot into the decorative pot. Hope this clarifies things for you.
