HI - From the top my basil looks great. From the bottom you see greyish fuzzy mold growing on the majority of my basil. What is the cause and how can I treat it? thanks

It does sound like a fungal growth of some kind. Usually poor air circulation or overly wet soils will encourage this type of growth. Make sure there's adequate air circulation all around your plant and try watering less often. You may even be able to stop the mold growth by covering over the soil surface with aquarium gravel or small stones to help keep it drier. The less humidity you have at the base of the plant, the less likely your plant will develop the fungal growth. Best wishes with your basil!
