|Nut grass is really a sedge and won't respond to most grass killers, but Ortho's Crabgrass Killer can be used as a spot treatment for nutsedge. Repeat applications will be necessary because the product will kill the existing weeds but there will be lots of "nuts" or seeds underground. As these sprout, you'll need to reapply the herbicide. Best wishes with your eradication project!
