|Lawns shouldn't be fed until they've been mowed 2-3 times. The grass will thicken up as it grows and the roots spread out and sprout new blades. After you've mowed a couple of times you can use a 3-1-2 ratio of NPK such as a Turf Builder on your lawn. Apply in amounts as recommended on the label and be sure to water your lawn well after applying the fertilizer. Best wishes with your new lawn!
