|Centipede lawns are not tolerant of most weed killers. One exception is Atrazine and it will kill grassy and broadleaf weeds in centipede as long as you carefully follow label directions, it will not harm the centipede. You can use Bayer Advanced Southern Weed Killer for Lawns. Centipede is listed on label so the product is safe to use on your turf. Be sure to apply according to label directions. Centipede lawns won't need much fertilizer. Feed one pound of actual nitrogen per 1000 square feet of lawn, applying once a year in the spring. Best wishes with your turfgrass.
