how do I protect my flowers from being eatin by squirrels and rabbits?

You can try one of the nasty tasting deterrents (Ropel, Deer Away, Liquid Fence, etc.) or you can fence the critters out of your garden. I simply place cylinders of chicken wire or hardware cloth around my most vulnerable plants. This keeps them safe until they grow large enough to be able to tolerate feeding by rabbits and squirrels. I hope it works for you, too.
