Coneflower Troubles Still ( - Knowledgebase Question

One more question concerning this batch of cones. This one is the sunrise coneflower that I moved to a pot because it seemed to be struggling so. It however may have the borer infection or just a drainage issue you spoke of before. Also, I'm in East TN, lots of clay, I thought I gave the plants plenty of new dirt, but it may be mixing, could that be the cause of my struggles?

Clay soil doesn't drain very well which may have kept your coneflower's roots too damp. You'll be able to tell now that it is in a container with potting soil which is fast draining. If it thrives, the soil's the problem. Let's hope for the best!
