|wondering if is posible to grow a celest fig tree in the middle of the lawn(I have to dig it out)it is label hardy and 10 feet average size; but the main stem is very thick and strong about 12-14 inches tall from there it has 3 branches in dif. directions they look tender full of fruit do you think is going to get tall or branchy-wide instead because the way it was prune?Thanks.

|Fig trees start out looking like shrubs but eventually will grow into a tree shape. You should be able to plant it in your yard and prune it to make it take on the size and shape you'd like. The bonus is that you'll get to eat that yummy fruit!
