|I purchased 2 salvia (may night) 2 weeks ago. The leaves are becoming holey and disappearing. What is the problem? What is the solution?

|All kinds of insects like to feed on salvia but only snails and slugs actually consume the entire leaf, virtually overnight. Check for silvery slime trails or go out at night with a flashlight to check the undersides of the leaves. If you find the pests, use a bait such as Sluggo. This product is iron based and any that is not consumed will break down into simple iron and absorbed by the soil.
