How do I rid my outdoor plants of brown widow spiders? They started showing up last yr. I thought the cold weather in Jan. would have killed them. I search and spray about everyother day.

If you've been spraying every other day, the spiders are probably not living in the garden but are coming in from the surrounding area. Spiders are beneficial in the garden - they eat all kinds of insects - but if you don't want them in your garden, concentrate on spraying the perimeter of the garden rather than the garden itself. That will keep them from marching into your garden.
