I have 3 japanize elm trees and they have japanize elm beetles. I had my trees trimmed last year..to no avail. Help!!

I'd try using a systemic insecticide such as Orthene. This type of product goes into all parts of the tree and when insects feed on the leaves they die (the insects, not the leaves). It takes a while for the product to move throughout the vascular system of the tree so apply it now. Best wishes with your elm trees.
