Good Morning! My butterfly bush has just started blooming--but it has grown too bushy and tall--must I wait until all the flowers bloom before trimming it down and back? or can I do it now? the same situation exists with my crepe mrytle bushes. Thank you!

You can prune both your butterfly bush and your crepe myrtles back while they are in bloom. You'll simply lose those blooms but there will be no ill effect to either plant. If you want to wait until they have finished blooming, that's fine, too. Best wishes with your landscape.
