The best control for caterpillars is Bt (bacillus thuringensis) which is sold as Dipel or Thuricide. It's a bacterium that acts as a stomach poison to caterpillars and controls them quite well. It's harmless to people, pets and plants. Be sure to apply according to label directions. Good luck with your garden!
