Hi. Just bought my 1st home. The front is SO boring. I don't know the first thing about plants, flowers, NOTHING! I do know that I have a long open walkway up to my front door + its blah! I'd like to put anything along that walkway or even something by the front door area. I'm totally ok with simple, easy to care for, little effort+maintence. I need COLOR! Suggestions? Like to start ASAP. Thanks!

Arizona State University has several publications I think you'll find useful for planing your landscape and selecting just the right shrubs and perennials. Here are the web addresses:
http://cals.arizona.edu/pubs/g...

You can download these publications and print them for future reference. Best wishes with your new landscape!
