I have some low hanging limbs which need to be removed. I have been taught how to trim limbs,.. but I don't know if I can remove limbs in Summer. Can I cut limbs this time of the season?
Thank you,

In general, you can prune whenever your pruning shears are sharp. If the branches are impeding traffic, go ahead and prune them now. The only exceptions to pruning are with trees that produce a lot of sap (such as fruit trees). These are best pruned in the winter months before the sap begins to flow. Good luck with your project.
