|The best approach is to pinch out the tips of the growing stems to keep the plant within bounds. If you prune by cutting out some of the stems it will open up the rest of the plant to harsh sunshine and since it's been shaded all these months the newly exposed part of the plant (and any fruit growing on it) will be subject to sun scald. I'd simply pinch out the growing tips now. This will encourage branching towards the center of the plant. Hope you have a terrific harvest!
