Planting annuals - Knowledgebase Question

How would be the best way to loosen the roots when planting annuals? Some roots are pretty tightly bound-up. I have had problems with this in the past.
Thank you

If the roots are really tangled up and you want to loosen them before planting, try swishing the roots around in a container of water. The water tends to help the roots untangle without bruising them. Hope this works as well for you as it does for me!
