we have alot of grond squirrels and moles.they have red clay dirt thes crittes have made tunnels thru out there yard and now the ground has raised a good 4-6inches up. i know that the roots have no dirt around them this makes the plant lean .what other kind of damage can be caused from no dirt arond the roots ?

If there's no soil around the roots they can dry out and die. You can try tamping the soil down in the raised areas and watering deeply to help settle the soil back down around the roots. Hope this works!
