We just purchased a Weeping Cherry tree at Home Depot. The tag says CHERRY WPG SUBHIRTILLA DPK and then under that it says PRUNUS SUBHIRTELLA PENDULA. Can you tell me about it? How big it will get and will it want full sun? They didn't have any info at the Home Depot.

The Weeping Higan Cherry Tree (Prunus subhirtella pendula) is an ornamental cherry tree that usually grows 20 to 30 feet in height. It has lance-shaped leaves one to three inches in length. The pink flowers bloom in the spring and are clustered in groups of two to five. Weeping cherry trees grow best in full sunshine. Hope this answers all your questions.
