You can grow grapes and apples, blueberries and raspberries in your garden but anything tropical or subtropical will have to moved indoors in the fall to protect them from the winter weather. Meyer lemon trees make good plants for both indoor and outdoor growing and banana plants will winter over indoors, as well. Just consider anything tropical to be a houseplant - one that you can enjoy outdoors in the spring and summer but indoors in the fall and winter. Enjoy!
