dwarf peach tree - Knowledgebase Question

Hi,I purchaced a dwarf peach / spring bloomer 3/30/10 I planted as per instructions within wks. the tree dropped its blooms, then loss all leaves,still no signs of recovery, the branches donot break, the root ball is still solid. Will this tree suvive or will I need to replace? Thanks Love the site!

It sounds as though your new tree is suffering from some transplant stress. It should resume growth once the roots establish themselves in their new home. The best thing you can do is water deeply once or twice a week. I hope you see new growth soon. If not, wait until this fall when the weather is cooler and replace the tree. Hope yours survives!
