I used Scotts Weed and Feed that you connect to the waterhose. I followed the directions, but I hope I applied it correctly. I know you have to be very careful applying it to your lawn. So what I did was after applying, I turned on my sprinklers just to add more water to my lawn and not to burn the grass when the sun comes up. Did I do the right thing? Can I keep watering! Help!

The beauty of Scotts liquid Weed and Feed is that there's very little potential to over use the product and burn your lawn. Watering after applying the product will dilute it further and will move it down to the roots of your lawn. However, if you water to the extent that there's runoff, you'll be rinsing the product down the drain instead of to the roots of your grass where it will do the most good. I hope that's not what's happening! As long as you follow the label directions for application, there's very little chance of the weed and feed hurting your lawn. You don't need to turn the sprinklers on after applying the product. Hope this clarifies things for you!
