South Carolina yellow jasmine - Knowledgebase Question

plant blooming when bought, potted up to larger container, vines growing like crazy but no blooms. Facing West, gets about two hours late afternoon sun. Help! Thank you so much. PS I live about 40 miles South of St. Louis, Mo.

Yellow jessamine, or Carolina Jasmine is Gelsemium sempervirens. There's nothing wrong with your plant. It naturally blooms in the late winter or early spring. It will produce flowers next year on the growth it develops this summer.
