Calibrachoa thrives in full sun and is fast-growing with hundreds of small, petunia-like flowers from spring through late fall. The plants are self-cleaning so no deadheading is required. How often you'll need to water depends upon how well the soil retains water. Water thoroughly and then wait a day or two and stick your finger down into the soil. If it is still damp, you won't need to water for a day or two. If it feels dry a half inch below the surface, it's time to water. You'll figure out how frequently you need to water as you gain experience with this particular plants. The goal is to provide adequate moisture, but not to keep the soil soggy wet. Enjoy your new hanging basket!
