I know that I should fertilize my blooming flowers. When the termperature is hot like above 90, when should I fertilize?

Find a slow release formula that's pelleted and you can apply at any time during the spring or summer. The encapsulated formula (Osmocote, Miracle Gro, etc.) will release its nutrients slowly and consistently over several months without a chance of burning the roots or the foliage. Good luck with your garden.
