|There are two kinds of hibiscus plants; hardy (called Rose of Sharon) and tropical (with bright, glossy leaves). Both grow best in full sunshine, with ample water. You can prune them back to control the size and shape during the summer months and you can feed them with a general purpose garden fertilizer once a year. There's not much else you need to do = enjoy your hibiscus!
