I have a lot of grass growing in my rock garden. What is the easiest & best way to get rid of the grass? Can I use roundup if I am careful not to get it on plants? Also will roundup damage or contaminate the ground so that I cannot plant anything there?

Round Up is an option, if you use it carefully around your plants and just target the weeds. Round Up kills the tops of anything it touches and then moves down through the stem to kill the roots. It does not move into the soil but stays within the plant. Once the weeds are dead you can pull them up or just let them decompose on their own.
