|I have several patches of day lilys in my garden and around my tree.When I pass shopping center they are so filled with yellow flowers and yet mine are more leaves than flowers. WHY?

|Overcrowded dayliles won't bloom well so if yours have been in the garden for 3 or more years, digging and dividing them will help. They flower best when given full sunshine and fed with a low nitrogen, high phosphorus fertilizer (such as a bloom booster). Hope this information helps you determine just why your daylilies aren't blooming well.
