|Citrosa "Mosquito Fighter" is a scented geranium and grows best in full sun but will tolerate morning sun and afternoon shade. In general, geraniums like soils that drain quickly and they like to be watered regularly. Allow the top half inch of soil to dry out between waterings. Pinch off the faded flowers and pinch back the growing tips of the stems every two weeks or so. When you pinch the plant back it releases the citrusy fragrance which is what repels mosquitoes. If you're planning on sitting outdoors you can simply pick off a leaf and crush it or rub it between your fingers to release the scent.
