Will they die oncethere root ball is stunted? How Tall would the King & Queen get? Full sun in Torrance CA. Lisa

When the roots are too restricted you'll see a slow down in growth and then a decline in health if you don't move the palms to larger containers. Because the roots will be restricted in containers your palms will most likely stay smaller than if they were planted in the ground. They will probably remain under 10' feet at maturity.
