I have leafminers (fly larvae) on my spinach. They are so disgusting that I don't want to eat the spinach even after I remove them. How can I get the to leave my spinach alone?

I wish there were an easy solution! Leafminers, as you know, are the larvae of a fly. The adult lays an egg on the leaf which hatches into a little worm. The only way to keep this from happening is to use a floating row cover on your spinach plants. You can simply raise the row cover, harvest the spinach and then reset the row cover to keep the rest of your plants bug free. Wish there were an easier solution!
