my niece lives in mass. she planted strawberries in a container with holes, actually bought at home depot, they are growing through, but a pesky chipmunk is eating them before she can pick them, any solution?

Now that the acrobatic chipmunks have found the strawberries, the only way to keep them from munching on them is a physical barrier. Although it won't look terribly attractive, draping the planting with bird netting should keep those pesky critters away from the fruit. Hope it helps!
