My plant is losing its leaves. Why? I've now put it outdoors to see if that helps.

Water stress can make a fiddleleaf fig suddenly drop its leaves, but so can cool drafts or lack of sufficient light. Be sure the soil is moist but not soggy wet. You may need to prune the stems back in order to encourage the growth of new leaves but before you do that, wait until it begins to recover. When it starts putting out new growth you can prune it back a bit. Good luck with your plant!
