When should I prune off last years blooms from my tardiva hydrangea. They are the one that bloom in the fall.

The old blooms can be removed in the winter or in the early spring. If you haven't yet removed them, now's a good time. Your hydrangea will develop flower buds over the next few months and the flowers will open in late August or September. Enjoy your garden!
