The standard drought tolerant, heat loving perennials do best in Mesa. Dwarf bottlebrush, snail vine, lilac vine, gaillardia, Baja fairy duster, dwarf pomegranite, Texas yellow bells, emu bush, hibiscus, bird of paradise, salvia, rock rose, bougainvillea, and Duranta are the most reliable flowering plants for summertime enjoyment. Hope this short list helps.
