|Dear expert, The fungus in my climbing rose is wide spread. I'm thinking of pruning my rose plant. when & how do I do it?

|Since your rose is unhealthy, I'd prune away all the infected parts of the plant and then use a neem oil based product such as Rose Defense. If you don't remove the diseased parts of the rose, it will always develop symptoms. So, prune it back hard to remove the disease and then spray it with Rose Defense. Repeat sprays will be necessary - follow label directions for best results. Good luck with your rose.
