Round Up is a contact killer. Anything it touches will be damaged or will die. It's not a good product to use around other plants, unless you shield the plants from overspray and just spot treat the weeds. I think the damage you are seeing to your plants is from drift or overspray. Your plants may recover. Prune off the damaged stems and foliage and wait for new growth to appear. If it is distorted instead of normal looking, the Round Up has affected the root systems, too. I'm not sure your plants will recover from the herbicide damage. Only time will tell. If they don't grow healthy new stems and foliage, you may have to dig them out and replace them with healthy new plants. Let's hope for the best!
