I bought 3 small norfolk pines last Christmas in pots. I noticed that they cannot survive the winter outdoors. Is this true?

Norfolk Island pine is very tender and will begin to sustain damage at temperatures below 40?F. If your garden regularly gets frost temperature in the winter months you can enjoy them outdoors in the spring and summer but will need to grow your plants indoors from fall through winter.
