Can you tell me how to keep the damn rabbits and squirrels away from my pepper plants. I had a nice hot pepper plant sprouting many peppers already and the damn pests eat not only the leaves and peppers but nearly the whole damn plant.

I wish there were an easy solution but there really isn't. Rabbits and squirrels will attack and eat most any garden plant. About the only sure way of keeping them away is to place a physical barrier betweent the plant and the critter. I make cylinders out of chicken wire or hardware cloth to put over by plants. The wire cage needs to be buried in the soil 4-5 inches and be at least 2' tall - with the top enclosed in the case of squirrels. Keep the cylinder wide enough that there are several inches between the wire and your plant, and so you can easily reach in and harvest the peppers. Best wishes with your garden.
