I live in the Phoenix area and have Bermuda grass planted in the back yard which has a north exposure. What type of fertilizer would you recommend during this time of year? The lawn looks good after it is mowed, but I think it needs some fertilizer and I am unsure of what type to get.

Thank you.

You can feed your bermuda once a month during the active growing season. Use one pound of slow release nitrogen per 1000 square feet. You can use a product such as Scotts Turf Builder or you can use a generic 10-10-10. Be sure not to over apply and be sure to water it in well after application to avoid burning.
