my tomato leaves are curling upwards and in. Is it a watering problem?

Some leaf curl is natural, usually a response to high temperatures. It's possible there is a problem, but if the plant looks healthy, the new growth looks good, and the leaves are not diseased, then I wouldn't worry. Just be sure to give the plants an even supply of moisture, since moisture stress can damage the plant and developing fruit--and make it more susceptible to other problems. Some insects, diseases, and viruses can cause leaves to curl, so inspect the plant carefully for other symptoms.
